MANDUKASANA



“Manduka” means Frog in Sanskrit. The final posture resembles the shape of a frog and hence the name.
 

 Technique:


  1. Sit in vajrasana. 
  2. Make fist of both the hands. 
  3. Place them adjacent to the navel. 
  4. Slowly exhale and bend forward. 
  5. Head up and gaze in between the eyebrows.

Benefits:


  1. It stimulates abdominal organs and there by helps in improving digestion. 
  2. Useful in constipation and diabetes 
  3. Strengthen the muscles of lower limbs especially thighs.

Cautions:

1.      This practice shall be avoided in case of hernia and hypertension.
