“Manduka” means Frog in Sanskrit. The final posture
resembles the shape of a frog and hence the name.
Technique:
- Sit in vajrasana.
- Make fist of both the hands.
- Place them adjacent to the navel.
- Slowly exhale and bend forward.
- Head up and gaze in between the eyebrows.
Benefits:
- It stimulates abdominal organs and there by helps in improving digestion.
- Useful in constipation and diabetes
- Strengthen the muscles of lower limbs especially thighs.
Cautions:
1. This practice shall be avoided in case of hernia and
hypertension.
